2024

Opening of the Haddock Meeting Room

In the spring of 2024, long-time partners and friends Bryan McCrea and Evan Willoughby invited the Haddocks for coffee and a tour of their new 3twenty Modular building. As Gord and Maureen entered, they could see dozens of people gathered to greet them. As they proceeded, they saw the words Haddock Meeting Room etched in glass on an office wall. They were stunned to discover that the meeting room had been dedicated to them. It was overwhelming, unexpected, and awesome.

2022

USask Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award

As the highest honour presented by the University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association, this award recognizes an alumnus or alumna for a lifetime of outstanding achievements. Gord and Maureen were especially moved to receive their awards as a couple.

2022

Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals

Gord and Maureen Haddock were honoured to receive Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals, recognizing their significant contributions to the community. The medals were awarded to 7,000 Saskatchewan residents and celebrate individuals who have helped build a strong and vibrant province. Read more about the award and recipients here.

2021

Women of Distinction Award

Maureen received the Women of Distinction Award for Entrepreneurship at the 2021 Saskatoon YWCA Women of Distinction celebration. This award was presented virtually, due to COVID isolation rules.

2020

The Raj Manek Above and Beyond Award

In 2007, the Raj Manek Above and Beyond Award was created by the Raj Manek Advisory Board to recognize the efforts of Saskatchewan-based employees and entrepreneurs. All sizes of companies and every industry sector are eligible.

The Haddocks are grateful to have been chosen by the Raj Manek Foundation to receive this award. Maureen explained that they felt humbled to receive such an award when everyone involved with the Raj Manek Mentorship program goes above and beyond each day.

2020

SABEX Hall of Fame Award

The 25th Annual Saskatoon Achievement in Business Excellence Awards (SABEX ) was held at TCU Place on October 2, 2020, a few months later than usual. The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and all involved did an exemplary job presenting this event while following all COVID protocols. The Haddocks were honoured and grateful to be inducted into the SABEX Hall of Fame on the special 25th anniversary of SABEX.

2016

Education Wall of Honour

Maureen was added to the Education Alumni Wall of Honour for Business and Philanthropy. The Wall of Honour is a feature wall on the main floor of the Education Building and houses the names of all previous recipients and photographs of current recipients.

1997

Honorary Lifetime Museum Membership Award

This award was presented to Maureen Haddock in 1997 for her years of service on the Museums Association of Saskatchewan board and for developing a provincial museum communication network.
